Martin GRABERT (1868-1951, German composer, organist, conductor, pupil of Bellermann and Bargiel)
Suite op. 15
A well-written piece, deeply rooted in the 19th century, but nevertheless fun (and recreation) to play!!
Grabert Suite op.15.pdf
This one normally would have failed my posting test, but please judge for yourself:

Paul CRESTON
Sonata op. 9 (somewhat dull neo-classical style, very far from Stravinsky's
exciting neo-classical adventures in his piano sonata)
Creston Sonata op.9.pdf

Antony HOPKINS
Sonata in d minor (mildly contemporary style, tightly knit, a bit on the intellectual side)

You may not want to have this here as I would imagine (without looking at it) that this is by the British composer Antony Hopkins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_Hopkins who is happily still with us (at 90), and was once very well known in the UK for a long-running series of radio broadcasts called 'Talking about Music', which I used to listen to as a schoolboy.

Karl KLINDWORTH
Concert-Polonaise
Revised edition of the "Polonaise-Fantaisie" (see imslp)
Klindworth Concert-Polonaise.pdf
The unknown composer:

Paul FAIKA (German composer and music teacher, 1892-??)
2 Mazurkas (dedicated to Eduard Erdmann)
Somewhat naive tonal style; nevertheless effective if taken seriously
Faika 2 Mazurkas op.19.pdf

The very much unknown composer ;) :

Erwin HESS (German composer, ???-???)
Sonate f dur (finished Jan., 31, 1915)
Partly truly individual late-romantic style (see for example beginning of mvt. III.) Recommended!

Thanks! Have you (or someone else) been able to track down Melartin's Fantasia Apocaliptica?
