Rudolf Barshai left us on November 2nd. Great conductor and arranger, most notably of (at least) four of Shostakovich's String Quartets and a completion of Mahler's Tenth Symphony.

Very sad to say this. We have just lost one of the most ingenious composers of the 20th century, Boris Tishchenko , whom just passed away on dec.9th.
