Dear Alfor
Many thanks, and how did you learn your Polish? I'm trying, now...

Re: Hatches, Matches & Despatches
Here's an interesting article by Philip Hensher about the death of classical music.

Hensher is a paid journalist so even if he knows what's right, he will take money to write what's wrong... years ago I would go out for drinks with him and Tom Ades. Now they don't really recognise my existence -- but I don't really give a @#$%, ... they'll never have any babies

Now I could claim that my mother can speak, because she was born in Niedamowo (West-Prussia, south-west of Gdansk, then already polish), but to say the truth, she forgot most of her polish, but never lost her deep affection for the polish people - so please give your wife Irena my regards, although we haven't met.
Best regards, Alfor S. Cans

He who pays the piper calls the tune! Personally, if Hensher is correct, I thinkisokani wrote:Hensher is a paid journalist so even if he knows what's right, he will take money to write what's wrong... years ago I would go out for drinks with him and Tom Ades. that the blame will reside firmly at the door of the @#$%ing avant gardists!
