Here is a link to amazon.de where I have just found an audio sample of an Etude by Henri Stierlin-Vallon. Unfortunately this is not connected to the set of studies posted here, but I think this gives a (tantalising?) glimpse into the soundworld of the composer. The compilation is dedicated to pieces inspired by various birds and is, for want of a more imaginative title, called "Birds/Oiseaux/Vogel".
After reading the moderators notes on posting sound recordings, I assumed that, as Amazon has itself posted the sample, I wasn't breaching audio copyright by posting this, but the moderators will know best.
The piece is called "La Volière enchantée" ("The Enchanted Aviary") and is track 4 on disc 2:

Incidentally, a couple of other pieces by this composer have been recorded - by Daniel Spiegelberg (quite recently) and by (I think) André Perret in the 1960s.
