Stefano Golinelli (1818 - 1891)
Golinelli - Italian concert pianist and composer, who wrote a vast number of piano works. I hope in time that we will be able to offer a large number of them on PP as a good introduction to this much neglected composer.
I've attached a short bio and works list as a pdf file since it runs to 11 pages [it's likely incomplete and any help in filling the gaps would be much appreciated].
I've also uploaded as a start point his work "The Dance of the Vampires". Malcolm

The Sonata sent in by Oren is actually Sonata number 3. Golinelli produced two versions of this work, though which came first I cannot say. The other version (probably the earlier one) is layed out for the piano in a more florid way, and makes an interesting comparison.
I have the other version, and will scan it for the site soon.

Thanks for the very interesting Sonatas & Etudes, Malc. I find the Etudes especially worthy.
