Re: Frédéric Chopin
I wonder if anyone can tell me who publishes Balakirev's transcription of the Romanza Larghetto from Chopin's e minor piano concerto. I need an edition which is in print now - I know I can access a version from IMSLP but this is not acceptable for my purposes.
Many thanks,

Re: Frédéric Chopin
Actually it is not quite clear, if the correct date is February, 22th, or March, 1st.WCosand wrote:Wishing a happy Fred's Official 200th Birthday to all pianophiliacs.

The Chopin / Balakirev transcription was published by Zimmermann in 1905. The copy on IMSLP is a Soviet reprint. I would be surprised if there is a current modern version in print, but could not swear by that . You could try Zimmermann's for a reprint, alternatively watch out for 2nd hand copy or check libraries for an original.
