Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Hi All,
This is relevant to the thread though it is regarding a recording.
Just noticed that details of Hyperion RPC50 have been posted on the website at http://www.hyperion-records.co.uk/al.as ... /2&f=april. It appears that despite the popular nature and countless versions of this coupling Mike, Stephen and Hyperion have found a twist. I'm very eager to hear Stephen's version of the slow movement of number 2.
Cheers Mike,
Rob

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
A work I scanned for some friends recently. Tobias Matthay (1858-1945), English pianist, teacher and composer.
This is his some what rare Concert Piece in A minor for Piano & Orchestra Op 23 arr. Two Pianos. Apologies, the original score I copied this from had been hole-punched and hence these are visible for the first half of the score [managed to hide them after that]. Also page 2 is missing 2 notes because of the holes, but very obvious what these two notes should be are since the piano is doing octaves.

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Am I right in thinking this particular Czerny concerto has never been posted before? (I remember the Op28 one was in the old forum)
I hope so because I have spent an age trying to clean up what was a really poor photocopy! Mike

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Does anyone have a different edition of Rubinstein's 2nd concerto, op35, arranged for 2p than the one on IMSLP?

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
you mean a different photocopy ? I believe only the Cranz edition exists.
