Los mejores compositores de mi país son: Eduardo Florencia (1985), Gerardo Guevara (1930), Luis Humberto Salgado (1903-1977), Sixto María Durán (1875-1947), Segundo Luis Moreno (1882-1972), Carlos Amable Ortíz (1859-1937), Ignacio Veintemilla (no el que fue presidente de Ecuador). Esos son los que podría mencionar a que hay DEMASIADOS que no han tenido la debida atención por parte de las personas. Este blog tiene buen información, pero solo funciono hast 2019, desde ahí ya no ha publicado más cosas: https://soymusicaecuador.blogspot.com/

But talking about works, the ones that I like are: of Salgado: Piano Concerto No. 3, Piano Sonata No. 2, his 3 Ecuadorian Rhapsodies; of Florencia: Sanjuanito Op. 9, Intermezzo Op. 109, Poem Op. 72, Cuaderno de Viaje Op. 45; of Moreno: 3 Ecuadorian Suites, Overture, some "Pasillos".
