Pianoman - I have the same problem regardless of format (Nitro, Adobe) - not sure why that happens to some scores downloaded from sites.

OK. Could it be a font issue? I really don't understand why this happens...
The Boiko is a score cleaned by you, right?

Try opening it on a different device e.g. your phone.
Less likely to be a font issue as they're scans rather than directly generated from a score editor, unless some corruption is forcing the viewer to look for missing fonts.
Could be a video driver or issue with hardware acceleration.

I just stumbled over a contemporary set of Rachmaninov song transcriptions, arranged by Alfredo Soldano in three volumes.soh choon wee wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 8:41 am (Not sure if there is a dedicated thread for Rachmaninoff )
Besides No. 5 Liliac, is there a complete piano version of the ENTIRE 12 romances op 21. If so, may someone advise which edition (as copyright may likely be still in placed)
https://muse-press.com/en/product-tag/a ... oldano-en/ (titles are listed twice: physical and digital editions)
Vol.I
1. Child, Thou art as a beautiful as a flower Op.8/2
2. The Dream Op.8/5
3. Believe me not, friend! Op.14/7
4. How Fair This Spot Op.21/7
5. He Took All from Me Op.26/2
Vol.II
1. Twilight Has Fallen / Смеркалось (Op. posth.)
2. Do You Remember That Evening? / Ты помнишь ли вечер (Op. posth.)
3. Night is Mournful / Ночь печальна (Op. 26/12)
4. In the Silence of the Night / В молчаньи ночи тайной (Op.4/3)
5. Morning / Утро (Op.4/2)
Vol.III
1. These Summer Nights Op.14/5
2. Spring Waters Op.14/11
3. Oh No, I Beg You, Forsake me not! Op.4/1
4. The Water Lily Op.8/1
