If you are an apt pianist, I would really recommend the beautiful music of Gabriel Dupont, La Maison dans les Dunes, especially the last one, Houles.

Good topic idea! First that comes to mind is Rosa's "Sobre las olas" ("Over the Waves") waltz. Two arrangements are already uploaded on here.

Gabriel Dupont, "La maison dans les dunes."
From Dupont's wikipedia entry: "While residing at Cap Ferret, a small island refuge for tuberculosis patients, he composed...[a] cycle of ten pieces for the piano, La Maison dans les dunes (1908–1909). Maurice Dumesnil premiered the suite on 3 June 1910 at the Salle Pleyel."
Dupont died from TB in 1914 at the age of 36. He is virtually unknown today, but I think these pieces deserve to be resurrected. There are a few recordings available at Spotify and on Youtube.
