Re: China Japan and the Far East
I've been searching long years for the score of these beautiful preludes. Please don't miss this music it's haunting.

I've realised that in one of the comments there is a link to the scores, it turns out a guy asked the original uploader, in Russian, if he could share the score, and the OP actually accepted, and shared the Yandex link with the full score of the preludes!! Here it is, just click where it says "Скачать" (= "Download"); don't worry, the link is legit and the file is clean:

Hope you kike it
By the way I asked Malcolm's permission to post this info

Re: China Japan and the Far East
Hello all,
I was listening to the album, 'Kissin in Tokyo,' and he played 3 charming encores, which appear to be arrangements of traditional Japanese songs. The arranger is a 'S. Saegusa.'
Does anyone know if these are published arrangements? The language barrier seriously compromises my ability to locate them with a simple google search.
Any additional information would be much appreciated.

At least one of them here:
Home Sweet Home - 1p preview. Entire piece can be downloaded for free by creating a free account.

The composer's website also sells his sheet music: https://saegusa-s.co.jp/cdbooks/index.html#wc_anc00003

Home Sweet Home isn't one of the three, but thank you for locating the composer's website. It seems he doesn't sell the three pieces, so it looks like transcribing time. I'm beginning to doubt that they were ever published for the general public.bingo wrote: ↑Fri Sep 24, 2021 9:37 pm1. Re: China Japan and the Far East
I found the above information from a quick English language search so have not tapped into the huge pool of Japanese-language sheet music resources. Just use Google translate to go deeper.
Also, try contacting the composer directly. I have done so with many composers and pianists over the years and had remarkable success. They are often so glad to share their works or passions. I've been sent published and unpublished material for free, even if they have a web-shop.

You make a great point. I know I'd be flattered if someone were going through that much trouble to perform my work. I'll give it a try and see what comes of it. Thank you for your help.bingo wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 1:32 amI found the above information from a quick English language search so have not tapped into the huge pool of Japanese-language sheet music resources.
