Re: Polish Composers
Hello, thank you for the notes and information.
I am looking for the Polish piano music for the beginners and early intermediate level students.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Re: Polish Composers
You should have a look at A. Tansman's music. He wrote a lot of pieces for students, from very beginners to intermediate. Super musical and beautiful to play. In this web you can find some of them

Re: Polish Composers
You're welcome.
Wieniawski, Joseph (? - ?)
Probably not the famous Józef Wieniawski (1837 - 1912) I guess. ...at least I could not find that Valse caprice in his works...

Re: Polish Composers
No, definitely not Josep Wieniawski to my knowledge (his Valse Caprice is Op 46 but a completely different work). Must admit, I have never heard of another Joseph Wieniawski, and think he may be American (based on the publisher).Hobbypianist wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 6:36 am You're welcome.

Re: Polish Composers
Hello Angela
Strangely, unlike the Russians, the Poles rarely seem to create albums specific for children or intermediate players unless an album was specifically created by a composer. Tansman is very good for easier pieces. Looking through my collection, these might fit the request. There are more suites by Tansman but I can not post owing to copyright - the attached album is an example of his music for Children (there are 3 further volumes and a Children Suite as well).

Re: Polish Composers
Given that the composer died in 2000 this is not possible due to copyright.marianomonsi wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 5:10 pmI´m posting because im want to know if anyone can share with me the suite of Władysław Szpilman "The life of the machines"

Yes, under strict copyright, but you can purchase from Boosey & Hawkes (who published the suite in 2003), or any number of sheet music outlets, like Sheetmusicplus etc. Malcolm
