Can I also also have his piano sonata no.1 and 2? I'm currently transcribing his ab major sonata and gonna post it in musescore as a typeset and the aim is to transcribe all his sonatas from manuscript, I had searched every nook and corner for them but I canno.

Waltz in B-flat major - Frederik Lithander
Hello,
I'm searching for a long time for a score for this waltz in B-flat major from Frederik Lithander, a Finnish composer.
Pianist Tuija Hakkila plays it on this cd:
I tried contacting her and the Archive of the Finnish Literature Society (Seems there the score should be preserved in the music book of Carl Fr. Tammelander in Finland). But without result.
Maybe someone at this forum has the score and wants to share it?
Regards,
Mocosuelo (aka Björn Holderbeke)
From Belgium

Maybe the archives of the Sibelius Academy where the pianist teaches? arkisto@uniarts.fiI tried contacting her and the Archive of the Finnish Literature Society (Seems there the score should be preserved in the music book of Carl Fr. Tammelander in Finland). But without result.

- or the library of the The Royal Swedish Academy of Music: https://musikverket.se/musikochteaterbiblioteket as they have at least a partial inventory of his works: https://www.swedishmusicalheritage.com/ ... hander-fj/
Finally, there is a poorly indexed set of issues of Musikaliskt Tidsfördrif on IMSLP including material by the Lithander Bros:

partial contents: https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musikalis ... C3%B6rdrif

I will contact them and see if it works for getting my hands on the score.
The musikaliskt tidsfördrif on IMSLP I checked allready. But only the variations on a theme of Haydn (which are also great) I can find in their volumes.
In case I get my hands on the score. I will post it here for others who are interested.

Re: Scandinavian Composers
Tuija Hakkila provided me the leadsheet she wrote down from the original book for the Waltz in B-flat major from David Vilhelm Lithander.
The harmonisation is only I and V. So very easy. Enjoy.

Re: Scandinavian Composers
Hello,
Does anyone have the Alnaes Ten Pieces on Norwegian Folk Songs, Op. 39?
Book 2 is available from the publisher but Book 1 is out of print and will not be republished according to Wise Music.

You can download the manuscripts from the Norwegian National Library here: https://www.nb.no/items/cc906f125848f20 ... 111?page=0
They look very readable.
Since the library allows distribution for non-profit purposes, here is a b&w version of the high-res file, which takes it from 55MB to <2MB
