I believe this is book 2 and book 1 is Op. 96 - if it's available, it would be nice to unite these two opuses/opera. thank you!
Sonntagsmorgen (Sunday Morning / Sabbath Morning)

Es war einmal ein König (Once Upon a Time There Was a King / There Was Once a King / It Was Only a King)

Der Kukuk (The Cuckoo)
Die Jagd (The Hunt)
Wiegenlied (Cradle Song)
Ein Tänzchen (A Little Dance)

Hasche mich (Catch Me If You Can) (also known as 'The Juggler')
Gute Nacht (Good Night) [also published separately]
Loeschhorn, Albert-Op. 96 No. 09-Dance, Little.pdf
No. 11 is found in the John Thompson piano course, Fourth Grade.
No. 12 is found in Masterpieces of Piano Music.
3/12...Any help would be appreciated, as even a search on Worldcat proved rather unfruitful.
I wonder do we have John Thompson Modern Piano Course for the piano, Grade 1 to 5 on pianophilia?
Should we have a new thread for such EARLY Grade piano instruction books (i do not want to start a new thread myself), and wonder if these are allow, as many are nearly a century ago......

I believe there is a Piano Methods thread; however, this method book is readily available and in print, being offered on many online sites.soh choon wee wrote: ↑Thu Feb 04, 2021 4:53 am(Hijack to look for John Thompson Modern Piano Course, THRID GRADE)musiclife217 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 12:56 amWell, of the contents, there are 3 available, so far, Nos. 9, 11, and 12.musiclife217 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:46 am does anyone have the companion to Loeschhorn's Op. 100 Aus der Kinderwelt (which is on IMSLP)? I am, also, still working on obtaining this opus in its original edition, which would be public domain, given Loeschhorn's dates, 1819-1905.

Re: Composers from Germany [Misc]
I was able to find the 1st 6 pieces from Loeschhorn, Op. 96. Strange for such a small volume of work, it seems that this edition was divided up into small parts... Only missing Nos, 7, 8, and 10, at this point, though.
Loeschhorn, Albert
Op. 96 Nos. 01 - 06
No. 01 - Sunday Morning (Sonntagsmorgen)
No. 02 - The King of Thule (Es war einmal ein Konig) (Once Upon A Time There Was A King)

No. 04 - In The Boat (Im Kahn)
No. 05 - The Cuckoo (Der Kuckuck)
No. 06 - Please, Please (Bitte, Bitte)

Re: Composers from Germany [Misc]
Found these in the Neue Musikzeitung online archive. I think the only 'known' composer might be von Mojsisovics the others are very obsucre.
Best regards

Re: Composers from Germany [Misc]
Thank you Robin.
PS:
Nationality is a completely overrated topic [unless we talk about soccer
], but since this question is (unfortunately) one of the main sorting functions of this forum: Roderich Edmund Ladislaus Anton Julius Mojsisovics of Mojsvár (wow) was an Austrian and Gerard von Brucken Fock was a Dutch guy.
Attached a little article from the dutch "Akkoord Magazine" I found in my folder "Brucken Fock, Gerhard HG von (1859-1935)". It's from 2009, but so far as I known the Akkoord Magazine ist unf. history, so it is may be okay to post it here. (If not, please, delete it, admins. Thanks)

Dear FW190,
Thank you for correcting and informing me about the composers' histories and backrounds! I definitely will watch out for composer's nationality in the future!
Best regards
Robin
