Re: French Piano Music
does anyone have this Leybach transcription?
Op. 276 - Brise de Nuits [Hack]
I was able to find scant photos, but nothing complete.

Re: French Piano Music
Okay WOW I was shocked when I saw this on BnF Gallica (check it out! https://gallica.bnf.fr/services/engine/ ... n%22%29%29)
Apparently they uploaded some manuscripts of unpublished works by ye good olde Alkan! A true festival for every fan of Alkan's music! I'm talking about two (unfortunately) unfinished pieces: Appassionato for piano and an Etude for Pedalier both in D major.
Also there are two orchestral works, Cantatas in particular: Hermann & Ketty and L'entrée en loge.
Again check this out for yourself if you are interested and to verify the sources!

Re: French Piano Music
French - Polish ?
either way, does anyone know where the score is to this beautiful nocturne by Henri Kowalski?
Op. 89 - Nocturne (3rd)
Does anyone have a YouTube account to be able to contact the pianist herself?
Maybe the score is hiding in a more obvious overlooked spot.

Re: French Piano Music
As far as I can tell after my research, Op.89 by Kowalski is a Menuet and not a Nocturne (maybe he used Op.89 twice?) I will keep my eyes open for this!
Best regards
Robin

Re: French Piano Music
I just googled the channel owner's name, and got her website with contact details: https://teresajaninaczekaj.jimdofree.com/contact/musiclife217 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 9:13 pm

She is a judge in the Cle d'Or competition that the young pianist Angelina Natal competed in. The pianist has another performance of this piece on her own channel,
but comments are disabled and no contact email is registered there. However her facebook page does have contact information https://www.facebook.com/pg/angelina.prodiges/about/
Separate to that, the Op.89a wasn't too hard to find:
