Re: Music from the British Isles
Edmund Rubbra died in 1986, and Havergal Brian in 1972, so their music would, I believe, still be under copyright. Thanks for the other uploads.

Re: Music from the British Isles
No need to thank me, as I've only put the scores together. My thanks goes to people like Alfor who are able to unearth these neglected scores in the first place.
Regarding Rubbra, apparently his 8 Preuldes (scanned by Alfor) can be found on this site already, so I'm not sure what to think of that. Likewise, some scores by Noel Coward can be found in the archived threads, and he only died in 1973. Well, better safe than sorry.

Carlo Albanesi (1858-1926). Born in Italy but spent much of his life in Britain, teaching at Royal Academy of Music in London.
Apologies, owing to size and discolouration of the paper, I had to do a couple of these in grayscale.

Hello,
I still do not think, that It is a good Idea to tolerate postings of music in this forum, that is still under Copyright!
The Publishers will stop publishing good music, because there is no longer any chance to earn money.
All best

Dear Alfor:
I agree with you, we should not upload scores with copyrights, that is the fundamental premise of this website.
Regards.

Re: Music from the British Isles
And yet there are plenty of Ireland files available!
The problem with the 70 years after death rule is that, if a composer
lives to a great age having composed most of their music when young,
that music can remain hidden for up to 140 years before it becomes
widely accessible.
