My last Uzbek composer for the moment.
Khabibullah Rakhimov. Born 1946, Nau, Khojend region, Tajikistan. Uzbek composer.
In 1974 he graduated from Tashkent Conservatoire, after studies in composition under B. Gienko. From 1974-1976 he obtained an internship at the conservatoire to continue his studies in composition with Zeydman.
From 1977-1989 - teacher at the Kadiri Institute of Culture. From 1989 - teacher of the Composition and Instrumentation Department at the State Conservatoire of Uzbekistan (1990 - Associate Professor, and from 2003 – Professor).
From 1995 - Deputy Chairman of the Union of Composers of Uzbekistan. Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2001) and was awarded the medal ‘Shu Rat’ in 1997.
