Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Likely KV 503 as in this Pleyel edition with a fairly grandiose title. (KV number gleaned from Worldcat entry).
Also issued by Probst in Leipzig.

Yes - unpublished, it is in the RCM manuscripts collection, no. 4780 as the Highland Concerto ( https://www.rcm.ac.uk/media/RCM%20Libra ... 20List.pdf )

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Many thanks Jim and JS for your assistance. The cover image was from taken
from Abe, where an expensive early edition of Kalkbrenner's work is currently
for sale.
Btw, K503 is one of my least favourite mature Mozart pcs, perhaps because
of its slightly Beethoven-like character!

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
When searching for some of his works I stumbled over this.
There's a pdf linked which contains the full score of the piano concerto Op.10 by Henrique Oswald (1852 - 1931)
The embedded score doesn't seem to be the original typeset. If you zoom in, you can see graphic artifacts. But ok, it's still well legible if you just want to follow the music while listening to it.
here the extracted score:

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
does anyone know of the piano concerto by Edouard Wolff ?
Given his reputation and compositional skill, I would think that it might be a worthy search.

I believe the first movement was published as the Allegro de Concert Op.39musiclife217 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 2:30 am does anyone know of the piano concerto by Edouard Wolff ?

Re: The Romantic Piano Concerto Thread
Thank you, this is interesting as it does mention "for piano solo." I wonder if the actual concerto exists somewhere. It would also be interesting to find a contemporary review of the work or a performance of some sort.bingo wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:57 amI believe the first movement was published as the Allegro de Concert Op.39musiclife217 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 2:30 am does anyone know of the piano concerto by Edouard Wolff ?

Ludomir Różycki (1883 - 1953)
Ballade, Op.18
Piano concerto No.1, Op.43
Both snapshotted from the well known videos freely avaiable on YT.
I've tried to extract the piano solo part from the full score (W. Hansen, 1921). Here it is:
