Albeniz - Kamenski
Dear Friends,
for a CD Recording we're desperately seeking Kamenski's transcription of Albeniz' "Navarra" for two pianos. Has anybody ever seen this?
Thank you all,

Ado - I think you will be hard pressed to find a copy, I have a fair number of Kamensky transcriptions but have never seen nor heard of a copy of this arrangement. May exist in one of the Russian libraries but often very difficult to obtain copies.

Dear Malcolm,
many thanks for your answer. A friend of mine searched in the St.Petersburg Libraries, without success....
I confess, you made me curious - which other Kamenskys exist?
Greetings,
K

Ado
A fuller list of Kamensky transcriptions can be found in my book in the Information / Literature thread:

I also checked Russian State Library in Moscow, and the Moscow Conservatoire, and neither had a copy. Maybe it was never printed and remains in manuscript.

Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet on two pianos
Anybody knows were to find the score of Romeo and Juliet from Prokofiev in two pianos version by Sergei Babayan? Few weeks ago I heard the recording of Marta Argerich and Sergei Babayan and it is a marvelous transcription.

Undertook a little research and do not think these have been published....suspected they performed / recorded was from Babayan's manuscript. Could always ask the composer / pianist if he plans to have these published. Can contact through his website.
