Paul Kuczynski. Born 1846 Berlin, died 1897 Berlin....although classified as a Polish composer.
He was a banker by profession but also recognised as an excellent muscian. He studied with Bulow and Kiel. Primarily noted as a compsoer of vocal scores. Of his few piano pieces the only ones I'm aware of are:
Humoreske
Intermezzo
Karnevalwalzer
Phantasiestucke
Variation, Fuge & Landler [as posted]
A hard composer to track down both interms of scores and information. Many thanks to kh0815 for posting the variations.
