Re: Piano Trios
The two volumes of Alfredo d'Ambrosio's 6 Duos of Robert Schumann
transcribed for 2 Violins and Piano are a new upload to IMSLP.
Can anyone identify the Duos in question please i.e. the instrumentation
and opus number(s) of Schumann's original pieces?
Thank you.

Re: Piano Trios
Mark Vladimirovich Milman was born on May 3, 1910 in Moscow. He studied at Gnesin Music College, in the composition class of Elena Fabianovna Gnesina. Later, he studied composition at the Moscow Conservatory with teachers Heinrich Neuhaus and Henrik Litinsky. He was active as a composer and teacher from 1935 until his passing in 1995. A large number of his works are catalogued at:

It looks like this biographical entry was put together before 1978, the year dedicatee Aram Khachaturyan passed away. The piece dates from after that year and before 1986, when he composed his String Quartet no. 3, op. 66.
