Thank you, musiclife217. This Barcarolle is a very substantial and subtle. It and sounds and plays very well. I had no idea Raff had written anything like this.

Thanks, Malcolm. These look really good--hopefully I'll get a chance to have at them this weekend.

Love the Raff Op.15. The composers melodic/harmonic elaboration is highly ingenious.
Wonderful posting, Raff.

Too kind! Thank you so much! That is the spirit! Here is one also that I just found from Raff's Op. 187 ! Sadly, just No. 06 - Venitienne.mballan wrote:Raff's Op 15 Six Poemes (which I think someone was after) ?

Raff's Op 125 Drei Klavierstucke seems to be a tricky one to find, although I think I've seen Nos. 1 & 2 somewhere......and here is the even more elusive No. 3 'L'Espiegle' Valse-Impromptu.

Re: Composers from Switzerland
Thank you very much for sharing! No. 01, the Gavotte, was very popular in its day and is on IMSLP. No. 02, the Berceuse, was recorded on a Lullaby CD... it would be nice to see the score, yes! then Op. 125 will be complete! Has anyone heard a recording of No. 01 or No. 03?mballan wrote:Raff's Op 125 Drei Klavierstucke seems to be a tricky one to find, although I think I've seen Nos. 1 & 2 somewhere......and here is the even more elusive No. 3 'L'Espiegle' Valse-Impromptu.

Re: Composers from Switzerland
Raff - Op 177 Symphony No. 5 in E major 'Lenore' - arranged Piano solo.
I have seen a piano / 4 hands arrangement, plus various odd movements transcribed, but never the full symphony for piano solo. Strangely this transcription was split between Kienzl and Brissler, so I have scanned and posted each bit separately.
Unfortunately, although the first three movements were reasonably good clean copies, the 4th had some shadowing (hence one page done in grayscale).
Note: the cropped page 52 has now been replaced with a full, clean version.....so if you have downloaded the 2nd part the attached is now a revised version.
