In Imslp is Walzer op.3 for 4 hands

Re: Polish Composers
The problem with Silesian composers is that the area changed hands far too often, a composer friend of friends of mine who died in1993 was born in Breslau when it was German property though we now know it as Wroclaw, he always considered himself German but for some composers we cannot be sure what they preferred, German or Polish. In this case I would say that if someone considers him Polish or German it is of no importance simply because we cannot know for certain what the composer thought, therefore he can be placed in either thread according to the wishes of the poster.Alkan81 wrote:I would have said polish composer, his nickname Beuthen means Bytom, polish city in silesia

Thanks for the alternative scan, Alfred, of the Leschetizky. We can now choose between black & white or color.

Re: Polish Composers
A nice little nocturne by Dobrzynski. I reworked the JPG images from another forum and converted them to PDF. I corrected a few obvious typos as well. I'll include the two original JPGs.

Re: Polish Composers
Thank you very much
the grande valse was a nice one but this is a little gem
Listened to the other nocturnes available on youtube and the nocturnes are vety intersting (op 21 n°1...)
Would be nice to get scores...
Oops the 3 nocturnes op 21 are on IMSLP
