thanks for the Tresor uploads Fred and your erudite explanation over the sources etc. So we have another 13 volumes to be uploaded, that sounds very exciting indeed. I will also be very interested in the Chopin/Mendelssohn volumes which you seem to imply are better edited than the urtexted editions we love or hate. I mean does the editing reflect more on the performance practice of the day which indeed would be interesting.

No, I didn't mean that. Thank you. I note on these two CPE Bach publications that Farrenc mentioned they were published for the first time, based on the manuscripts belonging to Fétis.
