Re: Russian & Soviet Composers - Part 3
Thank you caostotale for these two very interesting volumes. It is nice to see the Russians promoting works from other countries....most of the collections coming out of Russia that we've seen here are solely of Russian composers. Nice to have their students exposed to quality material ike this.
It is a great pleasure to see the second volume include a piece from one of my teachers, Carlisle Floyd. I used to teach that collection of "Episodes".

I put them on sendspace.com (nearly 60MB) - use the link below and you will get the 9 volumes No.4, 7-9, 11-15 (4 and 7 posted already above!)

Just to be sure.... it appears it is not a rar file, but some rar.exe file and the programme seems to be some installer.... I just like to be sure it is correct.Georgio wrote:Well, Dear Parag, parag wrote:Thanks Caos... these are apparently here: http://ale07.ru/music/notes/song/fortep ... i_mira.htm but I don't have access to the file server (scroll down on the page for the link).

Re: Russian & Soviet Composers - Part 3
I will still repost the rest with translated TOC's...can't hurt to mirror such interesting volumes. That website is a treasure trove of Soviet publications, but not exactly the easiest site to navigate or understand. Even on the dozenth visit, quasi-random poking around has led me to find more and more art music volumes amongst the heaps of popular/film/etc... stuff that's available. Sadly, a few of the host's scans are missing pages, as if he/she was scanning a bit hastily, but it's still a pretty remarkable resource, and one that features numerous issues that never made it to U.S. university libraries. Pretty much anything I've posted with the (NMS) qualifier was probably taken from that archive.
