Given an interest in the Keyboard area in the piano music of Charles-Marie Widor, here is a suite for flute and piano.

Re: Music for Flute
Having been long time abstinent from PPh for private reasons, today I'd like to ask for help: Platti's 6 Flute Sonatas op.3 are as an old 18th century manuscript available from http://imslp.org/wiki/6_Sonatas_for_Flu ... Benedetto).
The big BUT: The continuo is not practicable for the flute/piano duo (and upcoming Platti friends) I try to help out here (neither - unfortunately - for myself ...).
Anybody with a new(er) edition? Thanks a lot to her/him in advance.

Dear old (excuse me, please ...) Caprotti, who else?! Thanks to him for the precious hint!Caprotti wrote:something had been (re) published in recent times, try for instance Schott: Sonate G-Dur fur Flote und Basso continuo cembalo (pianoforte), violoncello (viola da gamba) ad lib. : opus III no.6 / Giovanni Platti ; Herausgegeben von Hugo Ruf 1991
And Busoni's pupil Philipp Jarnach seems to have transcribed two sonatas, maybe the keyboard part, see https://urresearch.rochester.edu/instit ... temId=5925 - in my country "The version of this item is restricted".
