Re: Liszt
Liszt by Editio Musica Budapest
I understand EMB had a complete Liszt editions sometimes around 1960-70, edited by Dr Soltan Gardonyi et al.
I am not able to get EMB editions..... I wonder (within the limits of copyright) if there is someone who have more information, and SCAN!!!
Also, I hope more people would request for Alfor to put more Friedmann Liszt editions. Thank you.....
(Poor Alfor, he has so much request in the pipeline)

So much feedback for just one tiny score --- I am deeply ashamed...

Re: Liszt
In one of the masterclass by Leslie Howard (to Liszt society, London), Howard mentioned he edited the Sonata for Henle...... but I have never saw it published by Henle. I guess.... Howard must speak the truth...
Has anyone saw his editions??? It seems that he also edited several other works.

Re: Liszt
Thanks Alfor for the Liszt Sonata, which is one of my favorite Liszt pieces. And thanks for pointing the way to the Howard edition. Have only learned the '1st movement' in my youth. Perhaps time for picking it up again. The Rosenthal edition is very useful. I love the nano-lecture on preface about pedalling. The annotations are just awesome. The way that Rosenthal uses poetic visions to explain the motifs and melodies is just enlightening!!
