There are much better pianists than I on this forum who perhaps could give more specialised advice, but as a basic principle I tend to pedal (at least partially) on each beat for the outer sections, and each bar for the andantino grazioso section. This is very dependent on the piano that you play - a more resonant piano may require more pedaling to keep the clarity of the music, but that is a matter for your ear.

In general I find Brahms very straightforward to pedal. If you can identify the harmonic flow that gives you a very good basis from which to progress.
