The quality of the scores in the major french library seems not so good indeed ! Cleaning the Prudent could request hours, and the result would be very poor. Better another one

No, the cleanup of the BNF score cannot be done very well due to the poor quality of the original Escudier copy (I have just uploaded that at IMSLP too). Mine was taken from a better original copy printed by Ricordi, that didn't need any particular cleaning.
