Cadenzas
To kick off Cadenzas, I’ve got two requests concerning cadenzas to Mozart‘s Concerto 10, K365, for 2 pianos:
1) Mendelssohn supposedly wrote cadenzas for this concerto. Does anyone have them?
2) Can anyone identify the composer of the K365 cadenzas that Robert & Gaby Casadesus and Lyubov Bruk & Mark Taimanov utilize in their recordings?

Re: Cadenzas
Bartok, Dohnanyi, Edwin Fischer & Sergei Taneyev also wrote cadenzas for K365.

Great to have Godowsky's cadenza for the first movement of K. 365. Anyone have his cadenza for the third movement??

Re: Cadenzas
Mozart himself (included in the K624 bundle of cadenzas), Mendelssohn/Moscheles and
Saint-Saëns all contributed cadenzas to this work. See the link below for full details of
what happened to the ones by Mendelssohn.

Re: Cadenzas
Thanks for the info, Timtin. So, sounds like the second set of cadenzas that Mendelssohn wrote are in autograph form (1st piano only) at University of Leeds, while the first set has essentially disappeared.Timtin wrote:Mozart himself (included in the K624 bundle of cadenzas), Mendelssohn/Moscheles and

I'd really like to track down the cadenzas Casadesus and Bruk & Taimonov used - both duos used the same set and it's an arresting couple of cadenzas. I've never seen the Bartok, Dohnanyi, Fischer or Taneyev cadenzas to k365 that Rob mentions. (Possibly, one of these might be the set that Casadesus, et al, used.) Can someone post these?

Re: Cadenzas
Bartok and Fischer are my scans but I can't post those, still copyrighted. Dohnany's and Taneev's are scans of other members and I leave to them the decision.
