Whilst on the subject of requests, I'm trying to fing Georg Marcel's Silver Ripples
Valse de Concert. No luck thus far.
Hmmm could you direct me to a citation?
Unfortunately, although both Op120 works are given in the Godard
list of works, no actual scores are currently available on IMSLP,
or on the other sites I've looked at. A library request seems to be
the best bet.
Anything at all by Georg Marcel seems even more hard to find!

It looks like Marcel's "Glittering Stars - Grande Valse De Concert" is still available: http://www.boosey.com/shop/prod/Marcel- ... rt/2002788
I can't find any reference to the "Silver Ripples Valse de Concert" that you seek though.
The Godard appears to have been published by Hamelle in 1895.
Here is the first of a number of Ketterer pieces I am going to put on P/P.
His Second transcription on the Opera "Roland A Roncevaux" of Mermet Opus 176 No.2

Timtin wrote:Thanks Jim. I do have one piece by Marcel, with
the first page of Silver Ripples on the back cover.
Btw, I see Hull, Hell and Halifax more as a Venn
diagram than as the three 3 Muskateers.

Thanks for the Marcel. Sheetmusicwarehouse has a number of his pieces and their stock seems to change regularly. Their prices are a bit high, though. You could keep an eye out on ebay as well.

Do I come over as a monogram or a virus or a bramble Tim? Even worse you imply I have MPS or have been taken over by aliens. Rob will be having a field day by now I would have thought and a s for fredbucket he must hjave missed this post. Aaaagghhhh!!! The triple hecho, I am found out.
Brian: None of the above - I visualise a Dutch church (with a slight whiff
of incense (presumably)), and a football scarf-waring piano/organ
virtuoso playing Liszt's Harmonies du Soir on the piano, fingers
looking like those in some Hoffnung sketch. It's amazing to watch!
Jim: Thanks for that info. I love the way that the Sheetmusicwarehouse
lists the music scores it has for sale!
Pretty close Tim, at least about the incense though I wouldn't call it slight, it can be overpowering. As for the spaghetti Hoffnung fingers attach them to the body of old stoneface and you hit the jackpot, the fingers are the only things that move. You can add the legs of Cameron Carpenter too when I am playing the organ
