This chap has some nice old recordings that he has digitalised.
There a lot of plinkers, but some nice romantic works as well.

Thanks - I think I pointed to this on the 'YouTube Finds' thread in 'Sound and Video Recording discussion', but no harm in reiterating a great channel!thalbergmad wrote:http://www.youtube.com/user/1musikpensionaer#p/u

That seems to be one of your favorite words lately. Remember, some people actually like some of these so-called plinkers (whatever that means), including myself.thalbergmad wrote:There a lot of plinkers

Think this thread needs a little dusting off.
Following a private request and especially for Scriabinoff and Thal.
Kabalevsky - Op 75 Rhapsody for piano & orchestra on the theme from the song "School Years" arranged Two Pianos. Very much in the style of his 3rd piano concerto.

A most sincere thank you. You were able to 'deliver' what countless queries and requests to numerous libraries, music dealers, distrubutors, and publishers could not!mballan wrote:Think this thread needs a little dusting off.

I also love Kabalevsky No 3, one of my favorites, quite possible one of the happiest, most contagious little concertos ever, those playful themes will stick with you
