And thirded! Yes, it is is nice of you to find an addition to our Yatsevich collection, Malc. It is very interesting to play the 3 sonatas we have by this composer in sequence and observe his developing style. Very nice indeed!

Thank you folk........feedback warmly welcomed.

Following on which, here is Yatsevich's 2nd piano sonata. A much more substantial work in 4 movements [quite like the inner two movement]. Apologies...some shadowing on penultimate page in bottom corner but thankfully note is readable.

Thank you so much, Malcolm. Indeed, these sonatas are such a marvelous offering from you. Together with the ones Alfor shared, we are really getting a good amount of pieces by Yatsevich. Now we just need Sonata no.5 that you've mentioned, and I do believe we do not have no.4 either.

Best regards,
Daniel.

Great. Thank you!

My aforementioned scans did not find their way to new pianophilia.
So I take the liberty to re-post the respective mediafire links:

Thank you, Malcolm for the Yatsevich Sonata 6. This is a real mature work, which is well realized in both piano style and musical substance. I am truly delighted to see this work from this composer.
