She married Samuel Johnson on 26 Jun 1856 — Old Church, Saint Pancras, London, England, but other than that I can find no other information about her at all, she does not appear in the 1861 UK census, so one suspects the marriage did not last long for whatever reason and she developed the wanderlust...

Does anyone have any works by Frans Coenen , a one-time Director of the Amsterdam Conservatory, his successor being Julius Röntgen?

Thanks Fred - I'm particularly interested in Frans, but if you feel any of the piano works by Willem and Louis deserve attention, then I'm all ears!

Thanks for these and goodness me, that Fantasia is something else! Makes me think of the Alkan single hand studies.

They had a little problem there--all three links are of the same Sibelius bagatelle--op34 no4. I emailed them earlier today.
