Re: Salon music
Thank you very much for the Carl Bohm pieces Toby.
They are the sort of pieces that sound well, but are not too difficult to play.
Do you have the rest of Murmering Brook.
Best wishes.
Peter.

Re: Salon music
And you did! - that's wonderful. If that's OK, I'll add them all to the IMSLP page. Surprisingly little of Bohm's output has made its way to the scanner, so it is really valuable work by you to make this available. Bear in mind that Bohm's violin pieces are played by thousands of students for exams (one or two have recently been on the British ABRSM violin grade exam syllabi) , but the players never get to hear any of his other music, and have no feel for context.tobyjj wrote:OK,

Re: Salon music
You're welcome,
I may even have some more of Op.327. I'm not sure - so no promises, but I need to go through some physical stacks and an old back up drive to check.
Sorry about murmuring Brook - that one is incomplete - I'll look for the rest of it.
regards,
tobyjj

Re: Salon music
I have been unable to find any information on this composer, but the piece I am putting here is rather fun to play.
