Just Google it, lots of it about, especially if you look under image search pane.

I much prefer 'No, we don't have any bananas'.
It may be grammatically correct, but logically 'Yes, we have no bananas' is absurd.
How can one own none of something?
If it is possible, then I'm millionaire, albeit a penniless one!

Brian, that is absolutely perfect, it even gives the chords as well.

My first banjo transcription will be dedicated to you.

Apologies for being greedy, but might anyone have "Oh Johnny Oh".

Q: Is it true that you have no bananas?

A: I'm sorry, but I can't give a logical answer to an illogical question,
despite the fact that it is grammatically correct. But if you had said
'Do you have any bananas?' instead, then my reply to this (logical)
question would have been 'No, I/we don't have any bananas', the
I/we option clearly being dependent upon the context of the situation.

This discussion throws up a number of questions, such as:-
Why did I fail that interview for the job at Leicester Market?
Do I send a cheque to VISA for zero pounds and zero pence as they've requested?
Does a picture frame without a picture in it constitute a picture in itself?
Does 4'33'' constitute music?
Is an empty set a set at all?
Have I gone bananas?

Hmm,

(For Tim Tim.

A Universty professor of English was lecturing to a packed hall of students. "We all know the dramatic and grammatical use of the double negative", he stated. "In the English language, of course, there is no corresponding concept of the double affirmative", he announced wisely and conclusively. There were a few moments of silence in the packed hall...

...then a lone dissenting voice from the back of the hall was heard to mutter: "YEAH, RIGHT!"

Here is the next TTT.

(Actually, I'm making a mess of the sequence up to now - but normal service should resume hereafter).

It never ceases to amaze me the discussions resulting from a simple request

I guess the song would not have been so effective if it had been "No we don't have any bananas".

As Mick Jagger might say, 'I can't get no satisfaction' about the supposed non-existence
of the double affirmative. Yes indeed I can't. Absolutely for sure I can't. Certainly and
without doubt I can't.
