Malcolm! Welcome back!

To say that you've been missed is an understatement. I hope you are happy in Cornwall, as it is a beautiful city, and that you have found a prominent place for your piano in your new home. All us look forward to a resumption of your incredible postings of these great unknown Russians.

Teachers included Goldenveizer and Vasilenko. From 1917-18 was first violinist at the opera house MVO, and from 1918 – 29 was a conductor of a military orchestra. Would you happen to have the score of Anatyoly Alexandrov's Waltz in A minor from the Two pieces for piano Op. 3? I searched the entire Internet for it..., and it looks like you are the only person who could help me with findinh this music. Thank you very much in advance for replying! Many thanks and respect for sharing the rare scores,
Maria

The next two works by Nechayev posted above - Op 9 Two Pieces and Op 16 Three Preludes.......I have also discovered that I do hold a copy of the Op 41 Twelve Preludes, so will scan and post Nechayev's final piano work in the next few days.

Hello All,

I would like to add to Malcolm's wonderful postings of Russian music by scanning my archives of this material as well. Starting here with Ladislas Aloiz (whom I believe has been mentioned before in this thread) I post Op. 33, a set of Three Morceaux. The second piece of this opus (an Etude) has been circulating for some time, but not the complete set of Morceaux.

Enjoy!
