Music for Violin & Piano
Music for Violin & Piano
To open this new topic, here the link to a free little score from http://www.nederlandsmuziekinstituut.nl ... s-download; my Dutch is very poor, I try to translate:
First score in the series "Unknown compositions": "Stücke und Tänze" for violin & piano (1889) by Gerard von Brucken Fock (1859-1935).
The NMI (Netherland's Music Institute) is quite active, e. g. regarding Julius Röntgen and even with an absolutely no-Dutch composer: Sergej Bortkiewicz (CD of piano concertos Nos. 2 & 3 and a series of 2 CD albums with solo works, reasonable prices); links on http://www.nederlandsmuziekinstituut.nl ... omponisten, guiding to JR (http://www.juliusrontgen.nl/, Dutch only) and SB (http://www.xs4all.nl/~ingp0040/, in English, very informative!).

Re: Music for Violin & Piano
Which sonata? Nos. 2, 4 and 6 have been published, but I'm not sure about No. 1. Nos. 3 and 5 are lost I believe. I have a copy of No. 4, but it's the Schott edition under recent copyright and I don't think I can post a scan of it here.lutoslawski wrote:Who manage to have the Roslavets Violin Sonata.
