School of Syncopation - Jazz, Stride, Novelties & the Like
School of Syncopation - Jazz, Stride, Novelties & the Like
To start off, a freshly scanned copy of Billy Mayerl's Jasmine, which I am not sure if there is already one in circulation, but which I did not have one in my HD.

Another fresh scan.
I know there is a copy of the Aquarium Suite circulating, but I have taken the liberty of doing another scan, a slightly better scan. The individual pieces are bookmarked.

You can't have a stride thread without Jelly Roll.
...Unfortunately, this is the only Jelly Roll score I have that survived the computer switch.

An article in today's NY Times about a benefit concert to buy a headstone for James P. Johnson's grave.

Hi Hands,
It was myself that did the original scan of Aquarium Suite. It's a good thing you re-scanned, because for all of these years, it was missing a page
Thanks again
Ab.

For those new to this forum, there are a number of stride-piano transcriptions on my website, www.moltoallegro.com. I should be adding some new transcriptions soon.
