The one I am really after is "You don't need a licence for that".

Those that were published were usually for piano with the Ukulele boxes marked above the notes. Some were never published at all regretfully, although the Uke chords and in some cases the strokes used by Formby have been "decoded" by enthusiasts.

Got me Goldtone Delux Banjolele out of the loft today, where it has been in hibernation for the winter. Got the urge to do some playing.

EEEEEH, turned out nice again.

Hi Thal,

Just checked through all the stacks and couldn't find anything by Formby...sorry. However, I'm glad to see that Parag has come up with one of your main wants. Great novelty number, and I can see how it would be perfect for banjo!

Project finished! With this posting we have on Pianophilia as complete a collection of Mayerl original compositions and song transcriptions as I've been able to put together. No doubt other song transcriptions exist, and if any member has any which are not posted, please do scan and post them! The only other Mayerl related material which I have are transcriptions done by Mayerl students which were originally published in Mayerl's School Magazine. None of these are by Mayerl himself, but they all seek to emulate his style of course. I'll sneak them in from time to time, but for now the Mayerl project is done, and I will go back to scanning obscure novelty piano compositions. To all Pianophiles, I hope you enjoy the music!

All Best,
