Re: French Piano Music
Hello
Is Jacques Ibert still under copyright as it seems that there are no scores around ?
I had a look on just one of his Histoires from 10 pièces for piano and found it quite interesting.

Re: French Piano Music
Ibert died in 1962, so I suspect so. Given his quality as a composer I would imagine most of his works are still in print and available commercially.HTIEKFR wrote:Is Jacques Ibert still under copyright as it seems that there are no scores around ?

Re: French Piano Music
Other Alain piano works which are probably not public domain: Seize Pieces published in 1992 and Deux Courtes Pieces published in 2002. I will post these if they are out of copyright.

A new name to the list
ERNEST GILLET french cellist and composer (1856-1924).
He probably wrote a very few original pieces for the piano
Here a little piece "madrigal"

Re: French Piano Music
Is there anyone out there with Poulenc's L'embarquement pour Cythere and the Elegie for two pianos? Many thanks for your help.
