Some more Palmgren. Op.51 Nos.3 & 4. (Malcom had previously posted 1, 2, 5, and 6.)

These have the color covers (not fancy, just two tone green and black), the interior covers, and were scanned at 600dpi.
Palmgren, S - Op.51 No.3 - Skymning.pdf
Palmgren, S - Op.51 No.4 - Serenata.pdf

The next bit of Palmgren to come my way: Opus 34, Zwei Kleine Ballettszenen ( Two Small Ballet Scenes ), for Piano.

No.1 - Waltz-Impromptu
No.2 - Humorous Dance

Scanned at 600dpi.
Palmgren, S - Op.34 - Two Small Ballet Scenes for Piano.pdf
Unfortunately, the outer covers were too badly damaged to be worth scanning.

Allan,

Many thanks for the Palmgren postings. Finding his music is not easy. I may have a couple more pieces to put on once I find them.
I have three folders of his music that I have found, but checking IMSLP and other sites often reveals that they are already available.
Keep up the good work. It would be great to have a complete Palmgren eventually.

Best wishes.

If they are different editions that would be useful...

You're welcome, and you're right about how finding his music isn't easy. The catalog of his works on Wikipedia that has been copied everywhere, is full of errors; publishers had a nasty habit of cutting up his works and putting 'catchy' titles on the fragments while stripping them of Opus, or making alterations to them to attempt a claim on copyright, etc. It's quite muddled!

And some pieces just don't seem to have many copies out there. :(

The only problem with that is that I would have to check all the music in the several sites to see what edition it is.
A lot of the music out there I had already, so have not downloaded most of it.
If there is a less involved and lengthy way to do this, I will happily scan what I have got.

I don't mean to be rude, or awkward here. But time is something that most avid music lovers never seem to have enogh of. I know I don't, even though I am retired.

Best wishes.

Peter.
