Music from the British Isles
Re: Music from the British Isles
Thanks so much for the Bantock, Malcolm! Bantock's orchestral music is something of a favorite (the Celtic Symphony especially is one of the gems of the illustrious English string orchestra literature (although the strings are joined in a few key places by no less than four harps!). Looking forward to trying out these piano pieces!

Re: Music from the British Isles
A million thanks, Malcolm. Sir Ed's Valse-Caprice is my next piece to learn.
That 2nd theme in d minor is just gorgeous. It sounds so much like Mischa Levitzki.

Re: Music from the British Isles
A little rarity from Nottinghamshire......the music of the organist Arthur Howard Bonser [born 1855....unable to locate date of death].
Wrote several organ pieces, but here is his three popular fantasias for piano [thank you Mr P].
