Thanks very much for Vol.2, Alfor. It's good to see the delightful Aragon of Federico Longas, that Stephen Hough plays.

I've never seen Longas's Un Sueno en Granada before, so nice to have that.

Oddly, I am seeing a lot of my posts disappearing!

Anyway, Thank you Alfred for the most interesting Vol. 2 collections. (There are several pieces there not in my library which I duly extracted and placed in the proper composer files. Seems the best way for me to keep track of the various pieces in collections like this is to disassemble!)

Enjoying the Mignone piece the most--very original. IMHO. And Fetes for piano solo? Very challenging.

Fishing for explicit support, dear Alfor ? Well, that's fair enough. Of course, we are interested !

I think the members will be very interested in vol. 1 also, especially an Alfor quality scan.
I have that volume, it is a great collection.
It has a nice caprice by Paderewski, as a tribute to Scarlatti.
I was surprised and happy to find a Lenda Brasileira by Mignone in vol. 2, among other things.

Thank you for the unusual amount of feedback!!!

I will prepare myself and the sheet volume one for scanning as soon as possible ...

(In sheer desperation not only about the fees of professional bookbinders, but also
of their reluctance to do proper repair jobs with sheet music, I was forced to
make sheet music repairing my new „hobby“ - see attached pictures).

Alfred, I can relate to your book binding problem. Professional bookbinding can be expensive! Some years ago, your many interesting posts prompted me to get a coil binding machine which punches small holes along the edge and then strings a coil of wire through them. This gives me the opportunity to create volumes of many different thickness all of which will lie flat on the music stand. I got this: http://tinyurl.com/po7qhet but nowadays over 90% of my scores reside in computer and a nice thin LED monitor fits nicely on the music desk for easy removal. But scores which really strike my fancy get printed and bound with this device.
