Re: Music from the British Isles
Hi Everyone,
I'm wondering whether anyone has any pieces by Herbert Murrill in their collections, that they wouldn't mind sharing? Murrill was an organist, composer and one-time Director of Music at the BBC. A works list posted in http://bristol.ac.uk/music/CHOMBEC/chombec-news-7.pdf shows extensive works for piano, but these are nearly all now out of print.
Many thanks,
Daniel

Re: Music from the British Isles
Co-incidently, Sir Malcolm Arnold and Edmund Rubbra were both born in Northampton,
both lived to the age of 85, and both were eminent symphonists. (William Alwyn was
also born in Northampton.)
