Does anyone have a scan of Harry Farjeon's Ein Schwanengesang they could share? Many thanks.

Thank you Phillip for the score of the hauntingly beautiful Swansong and for your superb and passionate performance of it on youtube.Phillip210 wrote:I assume this is what you are looking for: http://www.mediafire.com/view/9515vqva4 ... ansong.pdf

Re: Music from the British Isles
Amazingly, Stanford's 3 Waltzes Op178, published only once
(to the best of my knowledge) in 1923, might still be in
copyright in the US. This work is now available on IMSLP.
The first waltz seems to have a hint of Chopin in it.
BTW, Caroline Reinagle is a name which doesn't crop up
too often. She was a 19th century English composer who
I'd not heard of until recently. For further information about
her, Googling her name gives some useful links.
Margaret Hubicki is another British female composer who
deserves a mention. Her works include a piano sonata
inspired by Benjamin Dale's impressive sonata.

I've finally managed to locate a copy!Timtin wrote:More than four years on from when Jeremy wrote the above message, remy wrote:Does anyone have Charles Hubert Hastings Parry's Charakterbilder (Seven Ages of Mind), especially No.5 Espressivo and No.6 Allegro energico?
The First Sonata in F and the Second in a minor would be nice to have, also.
Pleasant music, bordering on charming.
Thanks very much.

sadly there's still no posting of Parry's Charakterbilder.
This Schumannesque work is also on the IMSLP wishlist.
Let's hope it turns up at some point.
The scan will appear on IMSLP during the week -
the file is currently awaiting moderation.
