Re: Scandinavian Composers
Has anyone ever ordered copies of music from Denmark Copenhagen Royal Library? I am still looking for the Song of the Troubadour by Brinley Richards and it is found in the Brinley Richards album published by Wilhelm Hansen that this library has. If anyone has any details about ordering copies from them or if this Album is located elsewhere, please let me know! Many thanks!

Re: Scandinavian Composers
Here's a score by Jacob Gade, his famous hit which has been used in dozens of movie as a soundtrack : Jalousie Tango Tzigane
The score is for piano conductor including all the parts (I have the parts but was unable to download it even zipped so if someone is interested I can send the file) . I believe it can be easily arranged to play it solo. I've never seen a transcription for piano solo but it probably does exist. There's a performance on youtube but I think it's the performer's transcription.
These scores for piano conductor were very famous in the last mid-century as there was many small orchestra playing everywhere. Records and radio probably made them disappear, only the scores remain.

I can complement this by a duet and a duo version. Br, paolorHTIEKFR wrote:Here's a score by Jacob Gade, his famous hit which has been used in dozens of movie as a soundtrack : Jalousie Tango Tzigane

Re: Scandinavian Composers
Melartin certainly gave this sonata an appropriate tile, Fantasia Apocaliptica! I think this is longest format piece we have of this composer.
Much appreciating this posting, Alfred.
