Hello Sgambatiesque,
that was a helpful link for Debenu, thank you. Do you know of a method or program or shell extension (preferably free) that allows me to "preview" the 1st page (at least) of any pdf that I mouse over or ask for a thumbnail (Am I making sense?) I find it a bit tiresome having to open every pdf I have to check whether it's the one I actually want. I try to name my files sensibly, but with some other peoples' files, numbered or lettered files etc., a "sneak preview" would be a Godsend.
