Re: Music for Bassoon and Piano
Here's another Soviet-era piece. Does anybody know anything about this composer? I have a few other chamber works of his and an oboe concerto. As with this work, many of them explore Chuvash themes.
Mikhail ALEKSEEV
Sonata 'Chuvash Melody', for bassoon and piano (1974)

Re: Music for Bassoon and Piano
A short piece by L'Ecole de Paris composer Marcel Mihalovici. I'm pretty sure this is one of his only works that is available on record.
