Re: Austrian Composers
Holy smoke! Those Hertz Variations are spectacular. The composer is giving Liszt a real run for his money in this virtuoso piece.
I thank you, Sir Peter.

I am pleased you like the Herz music Frank.
Here is another piece by him for your pleasure.
Good luck with page 10's nasty leaps.
Peter.
Henry Herz
Grand Fantasia on airs from Lucia di Lammermoor Opus 102

Re: Austrian Composers
Lucia di Lammermoor seems to have been rather popular back in the day, as here is yet another virtuoso piece based on it. That page 10 is something I can't play by sight reading it very well--too many misses

Henry Herz.
I am coming to the end of the batch of Herz pieces that I had from Walter Ryan. There is one other opus to come.
Enjoy. Peter.
Fantaisie Brillante on motifs from "La Figurante" Opus 108.

Re: Austrian Composers
Thank you, Sir Peter. Hertz' Op.108 is a bit easier than the other fantasies and much fun to play. Thanks for posting this.

Re: Austrian Composers
Does anyone have Johann Nepomuk Hummel's Piano Concertos op. 34a, op. post. 1, and WoO 24?
